Bill Safeguard (Cost limits)
The Bill Safeguard configuration prevents runaway billing spikes. By defining a monthly cost ceiling (e.g. maximum of $50 of overage spend), the API automatically rejects incoming evaluations from SDKs once this cap is reached, returning the flag's local fallback configurations.

Configurations are synced down using Edge Config or fallback REST triggers. The client automatically reads evaluations in-memory, resulting in sub-millisecond local evaluation times.
